Actually he is on pace. He has 1700yds & 11tds through 7 games. He has 6 more games left. If he throws for his avg he'd finish with 3100yds & right at 20tds.

His TD production is lower than last year through 7 games but he's actually ahead in yardage from last year. Albeit by like only 6 yards or so. This according to SEC Network lastnight when they interviewed him.

Remember he only played a half against Northwestern State and 3 series against Troy too.

He'll probably make that, especially if we can't get a running game going. I did think he played with great energy in the last game. To me, it was his best of the year.

who doesn't? point is that there hasn't been a redistribution of all Dak's 2014 tds to other plays.....yet. With a shift to the air raid, I would've thought that Dak's 2015 passing would trump 2014 passing, but it hasn't. was shocked when I saw he only has 1,700 yds thus far as saw where Driskoll was already over 2K. I guess the creampuffs make up the difference.

actually it was 14 rushing tds which to me is not 20? Do you bother with facts or just pull this stuff out of thin air? Also lets negate the Ints he threw last year that probably cost a few tds on the other side. As well as the fact that he played much longer into the trash games last year. He has 4 rushing tds this year so will probably finish with 8-10. Production is not down just a whole lot outside of rushing yds.

Let's not forget the level of competition as well. Yes, he didn't play much versus NWS and Troy, but we also don't have anymore of those games on our schedule.

Not saying he can't or won't. If I had to bet, I'd bet he will. But it's probably going to be close.

True, I think he could have another big day against Ky. Also, Ole miss's pass D has looked pretty pedestrian so he could have a good day throwing the football against the rebs as well. Only game I really see him having some problems in is Alabama. Not saying we will win all of the others but I do think he has a good chance of playing extremely well in the games left on our schedule outside of Alabama. He will need to have an unbelievable day against Bama if we are going to win that game.

He also sat out a game this year. He only had 74 yards on six passes versus Troy.
