Maybe it's just me but Bjork sounds like a dead man walking. There is no question that they are negotiating with the NCAA to lessen the inevitable penalties, and after three years of investigation, there's not much of a question about whether the penalties will be substantial.

my favorite part is when the author said "it PUBLICLY began".... PUBLICLY.. I love that part. that's gold. their shit's about to be handed to them on a PUBLIC platter. Forward Rebels.. I'm starting to get happy again.. this shit is getting good. if those were not the words of someone who knows his balls are not about to get ripped to shreds , I don't know what is.

But it says that NM was linked to the investigation of ULL. I thought ULL was linked because of the investigation of NM?? Seems like the CL said what NM wants them to say...again...

Borks' words were so carefully worded in the CL article that it's virtually impossible to know what's really going on. That article was written like a legal document in which the words were extra carefully put together so that nothing could be learned from them

A lot of Ole Miss folks would have us beleve nothing was going on. You can easily infer from Bjork's comments that that is far from the truth. He spoke the way a lawyer with a guilty client speaks.

I thought "academic misdealings" in lieu of "academic improprieties" was a nice touch.

Oops! My bad...instead of...damn, busted.

Gotta love the last line... "Bjork also said construction on the new basketball arena remains on schedule for a Jan. 7, 2016 opening." Phew! Thanks Hugh, I was wondering if all of these allegations would delay the opening!**

I think this is about to be the view of Bjork's career.

"What I would say is that there's no new developments that we're aware of related to that."

So, there are other "developments" related to other things?
