He immediately corrected it though stating that "a ranked ole miss team losing to an unranked team". Even mentioned Jacksonville State loss.

I don't think so but neither was 2-10 UNM, which is what he corrected to mean.

Exactly... TSUN hasn't been ranked a lot during that period... so not that big of a surprise they had to go back so far for this obscure stat.

Right. It's not a very positive stat. It means:

a) Ole Miss is very rarely ranked
b) Ole Miss plays a really shitty OOC schedule
c) Both of the above

My answer is C.

But this example and hundreds of other in similar instances, year round, influence the mindsets and perceptions of the morons who write articles and vote in polls. The american public is generally lazy and sheep like. Most people who see this image, watch today's show, or listen to every ESPN talking head speak of Bucky and OM in "Dynasty Terms" they start to actually believe the BS over time.

They have not been as successful as us over the last quarter century, possibly longer, yet the media acts like last year for us was a fluke for us and OM is always in contention for the West. Until we start calling these clowns out as an entire fan base and start voting with our wallets, it will continue.
