Mind you, Kluckers, white supremacists, and other extra-chromosome yahoos look at Ole Miss as Ground-Zero, their mecca for coming together to celebrate their lifestyle. I also understand that most Ole Miss students, teachers, and alums probably don't like them congregating on their campus like that- too much bad publicity.

However, why don't the Ole Miss folks simply bum-rush them, kick their collective asses, rip their shirts off, and send them home in the back of a horse-trailer and let them know that shit doesn't belong on their campus? What's the police gonna do? Charge them with kicking the Klan's ass? To me, getting thrown into jail for throat-punching some Kleagle would be a badge of honor.

I'm hoping I'm wrong, but I'm probably not- most of the OM alum and the out-of-state students who go there to "experience the Old South lifestyle" probably sympathize with the Klan (even if they still dress in white after Labor Day-too tacky).

If the university wouldn't have these problems if they simply came out and got rid of all of these old south symbols that these Klan members cling to. Until then they will continue to have shit like this happen there. They will claim that they are completely disgusted by this type of behavior on their campus, and then speak out of the other side of their mouth and say that these symbols don't stir up hate. Well they do, and this is perfect proof of that. You can't have your cake and eat it too, Rebs, ohhhh I mean Bears.

This is true, though there would be significant backlash from the CSA apologists and revisionist historians, not to mention the "I hate PC" crowd, but it would be the necessary step for Mississippi to wholeheartedly leave this shit in the dust, at least from the perception standpoint. Long overdue.
