Imagine if you will that Dak got a LOT more PT in Russell's Sr year. Then the big improvements Dak has made this year in reading his progressions might have happened last year instead. No telling how good he would have been this year.

I'm too busy imagining if Mullen had let our fg kicker kick the field goal against LSU.

If Dak played last year like this year we might not have tasted Number 1. Take away the run and he's a very good QB, but not as dynamic.

Exactly, Dak needs to be dynamic in the run game to be a dynamic college QB like he was last year, I don't care HOW good he reads his progressions this year versus last year. Why? Because Dak is inaccurate on too many throws especially under duress. You can't miss a wide open Myles for a TD or a wide open Shumpert for a 2 point conversion or a wide open Shumpert on 4th and 3, etc., ect. and be great as JUST a passing QB making reads from the pocket. Dak is a good passer but not a pinpoint passer. He needs to be able to run a good bit to be a great college QB.
