Yesterday wasn't a good performance, but there were some good things...
1. First half defense -- we were dominant. We gave up around 40 first half yards.
2. Gerri green got a ton of playing time and played ok. He had 11 tackles.
3. Fitz got a lot of playing time and threw the ball well.
4. Fred Ross made some explosive plays.
5. Lots of freshmen and young players played. I'm hopeful that they'll build on this and continue to get more meaningful mins
I don't see this team knocking on the door of 10 wins, but I can see this team winning the next 3 and 1 of the last 3 (hopefully OM). 8-4 regular season and hopefully a bowl win would be 9 wins and a successful season.
I think our defense is in good hands. If we can get James or jones back next season and find a couple CBs, we could be a really good defense next season IMO
