I posted this at the end of the game thread but I thought I'd throw it out here since I am always referred to as too positive. My unvarnished and uninfluenced game thoughts::
I just got back. I haven't read anything and probably won't for a while. Overall we did what we were supposed to do, blow out a bad team. We got a lot of young guys some playing time, esp on defense. That was good. The run game was awful. I'll stick with what I said after LSU. Shumpert ain't the guy, but the main problem is up front. The line does a barely adequate job of pass blocking and just really struggles with run blocking. It is what it is and while we obviously can't stop trying to improve it, for now we dang well better be trying to figure out how to work around it. If that is an air raid offense then so be it.
