They scored what was needed. They only ran 44 plays if i remember correctly. They also were not in very much. I mean we had a 21-0 lead after the first quarter and two of those were non-offense TDs.

That's what bothers me. Our starting o is not lighting up the scoreboard in any game.

It's called conceding a point. I knew the first thing folks would say was Dak was sick. Make sense? My point is sick or not 10 damn points against Troy is horrible for an SEC offense. Can you understand?

How many possessions did we have with the starters? 4?

I just checked- Dak had 3 possessions today at QB- never played a down in the 2nd Q

Our offense as a whole scored 31. It's silly to use the "starters" because of the mass subs used in football.

Correct me if I am wrong but did we not have three straight series of three and out? Also we had a series where we went for it on 4th down and converted to avoid a three-and-out. I believed Dak was in for two of those three series. That is the reason for the low number of offensive plays.

With all that said though, we will rise to the occasion for all remaining SEC games with the exception of Arkansas.

On at least one series we had third and short and didn't get it because we ran Fitz who is just not the same type of guy that Dak is running the ball. That's where Dak being ill hurt us today. Relatively speaking.

And shoot- I'm actually happy that our back-up QB got a lot of snaps and performed well. Silver lining for sure but that is going to pay off for us in the long run.

If you are talking about the first half, we only had 2 three and outs the whole half. And they were not back to back. Our possessions were TD, 5 plays-punt, 3 and out, FG, TD, 3 and out, and TD.
