He's runs about 90% curl routes. We basically leave Ross out to dry every pass lol.

0 TD's is disappointing. But that's more on the play calling IMO.

David Smith (1970) holds this record, what a player he was along with Sammy Milner, probably the two best combo receivers ever at Msu. Tommy Pharr was the QB, great player! Bear Bryant raved about his performance against Bama in the fall of 69, he was hurt badly but he played that night in Jackson and nearly pulled off a huge upset!

Just a little history, I was a freshman that year.

I think it was Joe Reed in 1970 throwing to David Smith. But he did catch 74.

Yep, it was. He transferred from TT I believe. Played behind Pharr in 69 although he played a lot as Pharr was banged up most of the year. Those 2 were outstanding QB's.

Reed came with Bob Young from Baylor I think.
