Did Southern Cal forget to tell their fans there was a game tonight? There's about 40 people in the stands.

Always a late arriving crowd. They are sort of like Mami though, they only turn out big when they are really good and playing big opponents.

Kessler has been awful so far.

The UW QB is returning the favor though.

The level of play in Pac 12 games just always looks shitastic & finesse to me. Very little physicality.

I actually think the Big 10 is gaining on the Pac 12 this year & is certainly better at the upper end.

The crowd filled in, the offense didn't show up. Give credit to the Washington pass rush. They beat Kessler up pretty good. Sark kind of outsmarted himself on the last drive. They were gashing UW running the ball and he just HAD to take a shot down field. Go with what's working man.

The crowd filled in.

I went to a game there a couple of years ago. They are a little Vandyish in their stadium arrival.

Also kickoff was 530 on a Thursday night. So thats 2 strikes - weeknight and prime rush hour kickoff on top of their normal laid back arrival schedule.

That sounds a lot like Lane Kiffen against Ole Miss.

Someone tweeted a picture of LA traffic before kickoff and it appears the city was gridlocked.

I wouls guess there is a little more to do in LA on a Thursday night than go to a football game. It aint like it is around here where that is all there is to do.

It was early 4th with game still on line when they did an aerial view and it looked like a USM game. I bet there weren't 8,000 in the coliseum at that time. It was not over by a long shot either. It was Thursday night as noted. Traffic was terrible. But it was a P5 conference game for one of the top 15 programs historically. Even with the caveats, it was pathetic. Even our 2013 Thursday night game versus Kentucky had a much bigger and more enthusiastic crowd.

Attendance was 63,623. That looked about right. That stadium seats 93,000.

No way it was even close to that. Must have been paid attendance, a ton of those must've left by the time this aerial view was shown.

You do realize that most of one end isn't used for football.

Nope, did not. Wonder why and when that started?

It's because the stadium wasn't designed for football. It was designed for Olympic sports. The floor of the stadium is much longer than a football field. They have the football field hard against one end and have temporary stands on the other end.
