Eli Manning was an incoming freshman. And nobody since has been a high school sighnee that went on to be a regular starting QB at Ole Miss.

Ole Miss is where high school QBs to go ride the bench behind transfers and jucos, or to transfer away to another school.

So who all has it been?

Snead (from Texas)
Schaeffer (from Tennessee and JUCO)
Wallace (from Arkansas State and JUCO)
Brunetti (from West Virginia)
Mackey (from JUCO)
Masoli (from Oregon)

who all am I missing? My mind isn't working that well.

Actually, I think Spurlock was the last OM QB to come from high school. He was right after Manning

2012 - Wallace, juco
2011 - Mackey, juco
2010 - Masoli, transfer from Oregon
2009 - Snead, transfer from Texas
2008 - " " "
2007 - Seth Adams, juco
2006 - Scaeffer, juco

But Michael Spurlock in 2005 and Ethan Flatt in 2004 I believe came to OM out of high school. So since 2006, which is a long time.

Flatt didn't start much. I think he and Spurlock were back and forth. They've still not had a consistent high school signed starter since Eli.

Hey, spin stuff all you want, I'm all for it and I do it all the time. But when facts are facts it's hard to spin it as a legitimate thought.

2004-

1 Ethan Flatt 123 for 220, 55.9% 1530 yards, 6 TD 10 INT
2 Micheal Spurlock 30 for 70 42.9%, 341 yards 0 TD 0 INT
3 Robert Lane 25 for 57 43.9% 242 yards 1 TD 3 INT

2005-

1 Micheal Spurlock 142 for 267 53.2% 1703 yards 7 TD 9 INT
2 Ethan Flatt 46 for 79 58.2% 511 yards 2 TD 5 INT
3 Robert Lane 9 for 22 40.9% 79 yards 0 TD 4 INT

I don't see the problem. Maybe we could take the hint.

Funniest part: I just noticed today that Mikhail Miller is transferring. Add another HS QB that transferred out of Oxford.

It also has to do with all their coaching turnover since then. But that's a good stat to show recruits..
