The guy is an outstanding football mind and does nearly all things right as far as program development, preparation and system. He just....can't.....get out of his own way and it costs him games he has every opportunity to win. He is going to either have to delegate play-calling, or the big decisions (clock, game flow, etc.). He can't do them both. We have way too many WTF decisions/playcalling and I honestly think it's because Mullen is trying to do too much.
I don't like his personnel choices either but at least that is based on some logic or past preparation in practice. Special teams is what it is too. But the in-game blunders need to end. Giving up these garbage TDs before halftime makes me want to chunk the TV out the window.
