I don't pay much attention to poster-rankings. It's the same thing with preseason awards. None of that much means a lot to me. I guarantee you the history of the program over the last 100-plus years has something to do with where we get picked.

People just look at the number of returning posters. Somebodyshotmypaw is not listed as a returning poster yet he's a preseason award candidate.

I don't know what weighs in to everyone's idea. It comes down to who has it as a board. Who can stay healthy and avoid carpal-tunnel syndrome? You have guys you're really going to depend on, Political Hack, BeastMan, Cadaverdog, Coach34, Behr, Iseenit, Interpolation, Fish, Jack Lambert, WMD, and too many other key posters to mention, and if you can keep them healthy then you're going to have a chance to be successful.

But that's okay. I was not tempted by the flash and cash others offered. I felt this board could get me to a professional board in 5 years.

I will say that TBUN is going through some turmoil. One poster beat the crap out of another. The moderators claim that said poster was just defending his mother.

Some of us senior posters do the little things well, like blocking douche posters, catching well thrown one-liners, but just have a hard time hitting the gap, or can't fall forward after first contact into a strong thread. But we have been here since the beginning, put in our time. Thanks to the training, and the prayers, and the vitamins, The Six still give us the benefit of the doubt and let us start threads.

Before Elite Dawgs, the MSU message boards were run like the Larry templeton athletic department. No one was on the same page and everyone was accepting our place in the college football message board world. Six pack had a chance and we appreciate the foundation they laid, but in the end they made poor investments that didn't pay off and led to being average. Then like ninjas in the night, a group of superior message board posters grew tired of hearing about ole miss on a MSU board and created a place that would say screw ole miss and we will make this OUR STATE MESSAGE BOARD! The ED brand has more national reach than any MSU message board in the past and has made numerous appearances on tRant and C34 has even graced a few radio shows.
