for two weeks out usually announced? I've got something I want to do the morning of the Troy game. I hope it's 4pm or later or I probably am going to have to choose which to do. Mississippi is finally getting a state monument at Shiloh. The dedication is at 11am that morning.

I want to say that the Troy time will be announced later today (monday).

Looking at the schedule, and this is just a guess, but I'd say we will either be the 11am or 3pm SEC Network game. The SEC slate is weak. I say CBS picks either Arky @ Bama or UGA @ UT with ESPN taking the other.

Our game and OM/New Mexico St will be the 11/3 SEC Network game. Florida-Mizzou the night game and LSU-USC on espn2

Yep, that's what I'm afraid of. If it's at 3 I might barely be able to do both. If it's at 11 obviously I can't.

Oh well. I may have to make a choice. I still might could do both but it would be cutting it pretty close to get to Starkville after the dedication.

I would much rather go to Shiloh. If you do go PLEASE take pics and video and pm me. I honor your appreciation for History and this dedication is WAY PAST DUE!

I wondered why we didn't have one up there the very first time I ever went. I was 6 then and I'm 51 now. I'm leaning toward going up and just seeing how it goes about getting to the game. If I thought I could park close to Rhea Springs and not get hung up in traffic I wouldn't worry about it. I think I can make it from Shiloh to Starkville in 2 1/2 to 3 hours. The problem is they are parking you in the visitors center area and busing you to Rhea Springs. With that kind of set up it could be a while getting away. I expect if they do allow parking at say, Shiloh Church, the traffic will be a nightmare trying to get out. I have to think on it. I have been going to Shiloh and walking the field 10-15+ times a year at least for the last 15 years. I've been going regularly since I got back out of school in 1989. I really hate to miss this.

I just saw the NPS plan. The parking is going to be in walking distance for me. I think I may try to do both.
