I saw someone talking to him on Twitter the other day. He doesn't appear to be playing football. Appears to be working trying to get himself a new car or something.

Not totally true. He took his ACT a couple weeks back. He's also supposed to be taking online classes. Now is he I'm not sure but that was the plan to replace the classes the NCAA wouldn't accept.

We REALLY need Nick James to hang around for his SR year. Chris Jones, who will be a pretty high draft pick, makes sense to leave but Nick is a low round pick if he gets picked at all. I know he's not crazy about being a student but he really should finish his career at MSU because we need him a lot more than the NFL is going to want him.

Good deal. I was very pessimistic about his situation when I heard he left there. Good to know that he got his score. Is the plan for him to arrive in the spring? I assume that the drop/add date is well past for this semester.

The goal/plan whatever you want to call it is to have him here in January. Of course he still has to clear through the NCAA. Hopefully there isn't anything flagged on his ACT & this score along with his core classes & gpa are enough. It would be a huge win if he's here in January. Also he would be enrolling with a very close friend in CJ Morgan-Walker who would help a lot with the home sickness & newness of a 4yr school.

^This. I was hoping for a big breakout year for Nick, but unfortunately he hasn't developed into a game changer on the left side. Better option than Dale, but doesn't appear to have the upside like a Chris Jones.
