I was critical earlier in the game, but something has clicked in the last three possessions. The boys are getting after it right now.

Isn't that what a defense of coordinator is supposed to do?

Yeah -- I dunno what switch flipped -- but that was the first "Diaz" defense I've seen in the last few possessions....

I may rewatch the entire 4th quarter again, just to see the defense play. It was a thing of beauty!

Sorry. I forgot how much smarter you are than everybody else.

Yeah that was the Diaz defense we know and love pre snap. DL stalking all over the place, LBs switching places, guys coming up and backing off, effective use of CB blitzes. Mass confusion and we lit it up in the 4th. Watching Jefferson get a running start from LB a couple of times cracked me up. He got a good head of steam and blew a couple OL up doing that.

Man I don't know what happened but at the 14:42 mark in the 4th quarter Manny starts bringing hell. 4, 3, 2 down linemen. Lbs and DBs blitzing from all over the place. That's the way I thought our D would look this year.

We're giving up 14.8 points a game. Manny is doing a good job even though it isn't pretty at times

Very effective. He actually makes adjustments.
