We might wanna pump the brakes on them a little. Arizona state looks horrible vs New Mexico and asu only beat cal poly 35-21. Asu was apparently way overrated

ASU is not the team from last year, not even close.

And they weren't that good last year.

Sample size is too small to know anything about anyone right now. Tomorrow is the day we begin to separate the men from the boys.

aTm has a couple stud DE and WRs but that's it.

All I've got to say about aTm being over hyped is South Carolina 2014.

And those go up against our weakest points, OL and secondary.

And they weren't that good last year.

They won 10 games in the 2nd best division and conference in CFB and returned like 16 or 17 starters. For whatever reason they aren't clicking yet, but to say "they weren't that good last year" means you only think there were 10 or so good teams in all of CFB last year.

Yeah, I thought asu was a good team last year. I don't think that this year though... Kinda glad though, bc it makes me feel better about aTm

I think they'll end up winning 9-10 games and being a player in the PAC 12 south. Probably still had a hangover from the a&m game last week plus hard to get stoked about cal poly after losing your opener to a P5 team (and wasn't quite like they pulled an auburn either). Last night they coasted over New Mexico. Probably could've won bigger but likely played it vanilla and rested plenty of guys. Beating unm 34-10 or 55-10 doesn't make much difference.

They would have gotten their ass kicked in the west last year, beating A&M and that's probably it.

i'm sure.

note that i'm not saying they would have run the table or anything, but they were plenty capable of beating everyone in the west except bama last year.

They're in a mostly finesse league. I watched one of their games last year and their didn't appear to be any physicality to their defense at all. Like water in a garbage bag soft.

aTm tied 7-7 with Nevada in the 2nd. I didn't see their scoring possession, but they've looked like trash on offense since. Nevada has popped several big runs on them.

And a huge defensive holding call on Nevada or its 14-7 Nevada. It was a hold though

They are some lucky SOB's. Should be downn14-7. Saved by the defensive holding call like LSU last week

They could call a defensive hold on just about every play with the way the WR and DB's make contact. Just seems the last two weeks the flags have happened to fall out of the pocket on huge plays that went against the higher rsnked SEC team.

Btw we should best Auburn and A&M the next two. We let one slip away last week by not being prepared in 1st half.

And our DA head coach letting us get a delay of game at the worst possible time.

We've got to find a way to get into rythymn on offense early. Slow starts kill us.

Our best way to start fast is to pass heavy IMO.

This isn't why we lost the game.

We lost the game because we came out tentative & unprepared.

There may be reasons for that, but we have to come out with more urgency & intent on starting fast. That's the key to beating both A&M & Auburn

You're never going to hear the end of that delay of game. It's like Croom punting on Georgia's 30 yard line. Complete mental flatline by Mullen. All he had to do was run straight up the middle on a quick snap and let Graves make him look like a genius 22-21 MSU instead he has diarrhea brains and ends up missing a 52 yard kick from his PUNTER.

I think he's more of a PAC 12 cheerleader.......I think he lives out west somewhere. But to be fair, I agree that there are a lot of posters on here are unrealistic about the strength of the PAC 12.....he is just more committed to calling people out about it.

just that the sec was an offensive heavy league last year.
