Kelly is the difference though. I haven't seen him miss a pass yet. Nothing but seeds right on the dot. Gotta get him on the ground and uncomfortable I guess. Kelly has talent, but he's a moron. It will eventually hurt them. If anything, it's probably bad for him to tear it up early because he's prone to think he's better than he is already.

And on defense, fsu can't get pressure or cover OM receivers. OM receivers are good, but their oline (esp minus tunsil) is not this good. OM is playing bad competition.

Ole Miss looks like the sharpest team in the country out of the gate. I've been extremely impressed with Kelly's accuracy.

However, I've watched enough football to know it isn't this easy. It never is. I look for Lord Saban to show everyone the blueprint next week.

That being said, it's hard to look like Ole Miss has against air

Yep, and Alabama looks pretty pedestrian against MTSU so far. You couldn't draw this season up any better so far if you're a Rebel. The West looks like it's anybody's, and you have your best talent ever. Can they capitalize? I hope not

Arkansas absolutely destroyed Utep last week. This week they play a team (Toledo) with a pulse and its 6-0 Toledo after 1 quarter. Point of this story is be careful who you annoint the next big thing early in the season

It is undeniable that Kelly looks good. His receivers are absolutely legit too. UM definitely has a good team, which we've known all offseason. I'll hold off judgement until I see them play a team with comparable atheletes. I still think they're going to have a tough time against teams that can grind their defense out on the ground and can take away their big plays and make them drive the length of the field (ie, Arkansas, Bama, LSU, hopefully us, etc.) They also always play much better at home and have struggled on natural grass.

As a side note- how shitty would they be offensively without Kelly? I'd say pretty awful.

I'm not sure either, but it will take a hell of an effort by OM. In the last 7 years, bama has been beat at home 3 times. Auburn (national champs that year) with cam (heisman) beat em in '10. Lsu (national runner up) behind one of the best defenses in modern sec history beat them in OT. aTm behind Manziel (heisman) beat them. It'll take a special qb or a special defense to get it done.
