I live in the Memphis area.

Is it too late in the year to put down bermuda sod?

Is it too late in the year to overseed with bermuda and frequently water to get enough grass to grow before it becomes dormant?

I've been told that fall and winter are the best time to put down sod. We just put several pallets of st. augustine.

No problems with putting down Bermuda sod now in Memphis. Someone with more knowledge on Bermuda seed will probably know better but I think you are a little late to seed it. Holding off until late spring for seeding would probably be best
