Sorry if already posted, but it looks like we got a new commitment from a kicker named Antonio Estrada (per Twitter). Says he will enroll in January 2016. I'm presuming he will be a preferred walk-on. Anybody know anything about him?

I'm not sure. Michael Godley was his name. I googled him a few weeks ago and only saw some old recruiting profiles. He didn't turn up on any rosters that I saw so I'm not sure if he is even still playing football. I do know that at the end of the season he wasn't even kicking extra points for Starkville High, which I thought was strange. At least that was the case in their playoff loss to South Panola.

Godley is kicking and playing soccer at Jones JC.

I can only assume that he made those kicks. Based on height and velocity I would say yes.


He looks good in practice but can he handle the on-field stress. ***
