10 of the top 25 teams in the nation after week 1 are from the SEC (40%). The teams left out are Vandy, UK, UF and USCe. All 7 SECW teams are in. Does this mean that we are the 10th best team in the SEC and the last t eam in the SECW? This speaks to the perception (real or imagined) of the strength of the SEC and particularly the SECW. We will move up.

That the first time ever all 7 teams from the West are ranked? First time ever for any conference to have an entire division ranked? Craziness

I thought that last year while we were ranked #1 that all 7 of the SECW teams were ranked in the top 25. I could be wrong. I'm old. They say that memory is the second thing to go, and I can't remember what's first.
