will tie him for #1 all time at MSU with 42. Crazy to think we have played for over 100 years and this guy, who is a "running QB," will break the school record by over 25 TDs.

Not only the best football player in MSU history but he also seems like a truly great human being. I am very proud he chose to become part of the MSU family.

Over Russell, who was touted to be the next Dan Marino (type) half a decade ago... just sayin..... lol

Russell was a good QB but Dak is just on another level than most. Russell was the best QB to come out of a MS high school in a while.

tip of the iceberg... don't get me wrong. TR17 was / is all dawg, and I am proud of what he has done, but we have just taken it to another level....

Russell should have gone to LSU- he would have fit in perfectly there

Let's make sure to enjoy Dak this year. Regardless of what the future holds, he is an instant legend.

We will talk about him for the next century......

Or Bama or UGA or anywhere that ran a pro style, drop-back passing offense. Or hell, somewhere like TX Tech where they throw the ball 50 times a game out of the gun and don't ask the QB to run.

In fairness to Russell's decision, he was a pretty good fit for the offense we were, er... trying to run when he was being recruited. His best choice would have been an air raid team where he could make mostly short, quick throws and not have to think a whole lot.

If Marino had only closed on that house in Old Waverly...

Not true, YP said Mikhail Milker was the best MS QB since Jason Campbell.

Mikhail Miller was the greatest QB since the polish rifle. The legend continues.

Love Dak, but I hope he is the first of many great MSU QBs. Here's hoping Fitz or Staley continue the legacy
