It appears as though they couldn't get there fast enough

They're gonna look kinda dumb setting up in that quiet scene when our campus will absolute bedlam.

Our campus will likely not be bedlam 9+ hours before kickoff when SEC nation ends, and certainly not 12 or so hours before kickoff when it starts.

Also, it is the CBS 2:30 game (v Georgia). I have been to Vandy more than a few times. Every time, except 1999, the place has been like a funeral visitation. In 1999, it was a good crowd and rowdy until Vandy's opening series. Then the rest of that game was like a funeral.

Well, their football program is dead so I suppose it's a fitting atmosphere.

I'm thinking it the start time of the game. I guess they are worried no one would be on campus until later after the show starts. I also think they are waiting on the Bama or Ole Miss games just in case we are doing good.

WKU as well. Vandy might go 1-11 this season. I just wonder is the coach going to make it through the season.
