Good article. Upon closer reflection, it appears that MSU's defense & offensive line will absolutely have to suck for MSU not to have a chance to win every game this year.
It's amazing how the media uses what I'm calling "selective relevance" when breaking down football teams. They say It matters more that MSU is replacing their RB, some offensive line starters (with other experienced, more highly rated players), & some defensive guys (from a defense that was below average last season) than it matters that MSU is bringing back the most consistent QB in America, all of his receivers, & most of it's production on defense.
There are some threads today on the board about how LSU fans are looking down upon MSU. For one, I don't blame them & actually feel bad for them. The mainstream fan just listens to the media & doesn't do their own research. So, with that in mind, who could blame LSU fans for looking down upon MSU? Their fan base, along with others, have been fed awful information about MSU this off season that has led to the perception that MSU won't be good.
The media has absolutely failed other fan bases this off season by creating a narrative, about their game with MSU, that is false & non representative of MSU's team. It will be interesting to see if a coach gets fired this year because the fan base had no clue how good MSU was, before MSU beat them.
