If I was the Patterson kid I would re-evaluate my options. Freeze can't develop a HS quarterback. Come to think of it it's an institutional problem. How long has it been since they had a multi game starter that they signed out of high school.?

There was never any doubt it would be MGK. Had he not been promised the starting job before signing day, there is a decent chance he wouldn't have signed with OM. A JUCO isn't going to waste his time already having lost two years by going somewhere he thinks he may not play. But, you have to think that it makes Buchanon and Kincade feel pretty bad. It basically displays that Freeze has zero faith in them.

If freeze still isn't sure, it seems a slap in the face to let the new guy start over the ones that's been there. Now if kelly is clearly better, starting him makes sense, but why play all 3 if Kelly is the man?

Because as I said yesterday- their QB situation is a farce.

I'm surprised that they are starting Kelly however- but whatever. He is going to be their starter anyway.
