Don't like that at all. Gonna be damn, damn hot. Why in the hell do we let CSS tell us what time the game is going to be played.... Yeah, its probably got something to do with ESPN's lineup. I am sure ESPN called the shots.

Still, this sucks. Bad.

I think that's the weekend CBS broadcasts the US Open- so 2:30 games are possible on other channels. Damn sure beats playing at 11am

Beats 11:20 no doubt. Leaves plenty of good bar or dinner time after the game. Whichever route you decide to go

2:30 is a good time, but it'll be mighty hot. As long as we win, I don't care.

If we don't win, being hot will be the least of my concerns

I'm not going to complain because 2:30 is my preferred game time because it makes a daytrip SO much easier. Plenty of time to get to Starkville in the morning for the game and plenty of time to get back home after the game is done. I'll take it.

Beats a 7pm PPV. Get the game with the nobody over quickly. That 11am game against Alcorn was hot as hell too, but at least it's over early so you can go home/somewhere and watch real football.

Damn, just thinking about that makes me feel like I have a sweaty ass.
Only two other SEC games interest me that weekend:
Florida @ The U
South Carolina @ Georgia

Might be able to catch those that evening.

I agree- 11am games are the worst. I would take 2:30 and 90 degrees anytime. Although I would prefer a night game.

I think 11 AM games should be banned.

I know I'm in the extreme minority but I personally don't mind 1, 11 am game a year in a low profile game. I understand they are bad for recruiting etc... I think it's cool once a fall to get up early, have a Bloody Mary or mimosa breakfast, then after our game, watch football all day.
