Yes, but it's not uniformly enforced. I've never seen it enforced on cowbells. I think there were a few places that were starting to do the vuzuzelas after the World Cup in South Africa. It was aimed at that I think.

Nothing artificial about a cowbell anyway. Its two pieces of metal hitting each other. I would just say that the entire fan section is an extended part of our band. Surely everyone could go to one band practice and claim to be walk on band member.

what kind of dipshit would blow one of those cheesy things at a HS game? They should have it taken away from them and beaten with it by the other patrons.
There was nothing wrong with the cowbells, they weren't interfering with anything. And they don't sound gay like the soccer horn.
