I'm typically not a fan of people announcing their generosity, but I like this. It's good timing with football season and fall ball around the corner. It's a good boost of excitement after the summer lull.

If people are going to donate 6 figures they get to decide whether or not their name gets announced imo. Plus I'm sure the university wanted to bc It may help to pick up a little momentum with other donors. They are also naming the batting cages after Mitch which is very cool.
