Hey Tusk, so you're boy Cromwell can't keep his wang to himself, Coker doesn't realized he isn't in Tallahassee anymore, and Barnett is the size of an Ethiopian Sam Bradford. What does that leave you? Alec Morris..... hope that defense is not just hype or Bama may digress to early 2000s form.

What did Cromwell do?

Put it this way, he's in the dog house

Well either Kiffin got lucky with simms last year or he can coach up a QB. If it was luck then Bama will struggle on offense.

That still doesn't answer the question. What did he do?

I think Morris will be the QB this year. Saban will always pick the safest candidate.

Did Cromwell screw the coaches daughter or something?

Zero chance.

I still feel infinitely more comfortable with any of the cats you mentioned over Sims, same time last year...

Alec Morris is more a "game manager" type... big guy, big arm, not terribly mobile, knows the system better than the others... we can win with him.

David Cornwell has huge arm and good mobility... was impressing and moving up, but appears to have "stubbed his toe"... don't have any specifics... we can win with him...

Blake Barnett is the most talented of the bunch... his more of a gunslinger type with good mobility... a smaller, more talented McCarron with a much stronger arm... he's a bit small (for 6-5) right now to "get dirty"... I think hes about 210... if he knows the system well enough, I'd consider rolling the dice with him... we can win with him...

Jake Coker... WTF?.... oh, we can win with him...

the front 7 should be absolutely criminal this year... if we get average to good secondary play, the D could be really special.

You guys could win with Saban at QB, that's not really the question.

But in a tight game, you don't want a guy who is inexperienced and turnover-prone, and we don't know what any of those QBs give you. That's why I think Morris will win out.

Early-2000s form is crazy, but we're talking about the difference between 12-0 and 8-4 or 9-3, which is possible.

Kiffin just runs picks to get his players open.

"picks" today are not what they used to be... neither is PI (either offense or defense).
