I think it is going to be a field day on offense, even if Dak only plays the first half. Defense is going to be solid the first half then see a lot of substitutions in the second half (maybe sooner)....Dan may play nice, but I'm going to say 48-10 (really don't think they'll score a TD, but maybe?)

Doubt it, unless USM sells out to stop the pass and lets him scramble a bunch. He's not going to get more than a few designed runs in this game. I'd say 300-350 passing and <50 rushing is more likely.

Our boys come out with a huge chip-on-their-shoulder due to lack of respect. USM will talk smack pre-game, then pay the price after kickoff. Blowout by halftime, Maroons up by 35. Fitz comes in early and continues domination, though 2nd team defense gives up some garbage-time scores. Good guys double up Mustard Buzzards in 1st downs and total yardage, even more lop-sided 3rd-down efficiency, and finish up by 42. something like 59-17.

Do agree that we will show little of playbook, and it may keep the score artificially lower than my estimate, but I also believe we will trounce them soundly even with vanilla play-calling.

This is me. Except I think it's a little higher scoring for both. Something like 45 - 20. I won't be surprised if it's still "close" at half. Like 27-14 or 24-10 or something.

Gonna be a blowout from the beginning, IMO. We could easily see 6 possessions in each half. How many drives do you think they will be able to stop? How many do you think we will stop ourselves with critical mistakes?

I suspect we'll make mistakes early, but be so much better that we'll overcome them in all but perhaps one drive in the first half. 2nd half we keep rolling offensively, though slowing it up quite a bit to eat clock and get away as healthy as possible. Also expect massive substitutions, along with prevent defense early, resulting in a closer 2nd half.
