In beating #5 Meridian. MC looks very well coached.
Hey Baaaaawwby that's how you beat a higher ranked team on the road. Peterson is the real deal.
Several big time players. Offense was fast. Good running game.
Very aggressive D.

Except that he left forest with a championship team for his defensive coordinator/successor Judd Boswell, who then parlayed his success at forest into getting the Clinton job.

Eta: that's not a knock on Judd, he deserved the Clinton job.

Who made the better offseason hire, Madison central getting Peterson or Starkville getting Ricky woods? I think Peterson but folks in God's country seem to be thrilled with woods, which personally I don't get.

I'm a Neshoba central guy in Philadelphia. No philly guy haha.

I keep up with Neshoba central, but I'll go see Greg Eiland a few times this year.

Meridian could easily be 1-3 or even 0-4 soon. Play at South Panola next week, at Wayne County the next and then home against Noxubee county. Tough schedule early.

Peterson one of the best. He also hired one of the best OL coaches in the South in Mike Hendershot. The O-Line was filthy last night.

Didn't Noxubee Co handle Starkville pretty well last night? I know the final was 26-20 but everything I heard Noxubee dominated. Any of you guys see it first hand?

As a MC alum, I'm pretty excited to see what Peterson can do. I'm glad the Bobby Hall show is over and now it's about the kids again.

No noxubee didn't dominate. Not at all. They led 14-7 at half and had 90 yards. One scoring drive started Inside the Starkville 10. They had a nice opening drive to start the third where they converted 3 3rd and longs. That put them up 20-7. They did nothing else to speak of on offense the rest of the game. Simmons was the best player on the field though. An had a good night but dropped the game tying td pass I. Double ot.

Rivalry games are never easy. Actually, MC's entire schedule for the most part if killer- At Meridian, Brandon, at Oxford, South Panola, at West Monroe, at Clinton, and then they play Starkville.

They could have conceivably made the playoffs with a 5-7 record.

I think they are significantly better than west monroe. the rest are toss ups. your right on

Oh, I think MC wins I was just agreeing with earlier post that Tyler Peterson is an outstanding coach.
