Personally, it would be hard for me not to say RS them all.

One interesting note. Bob says if you look at McLaurin and Peters in practice, without knowing who they were, you would guess Mark to be the 5* guy.

You simply can't do this & not have it bite your ass in recruiting. When you sign players the caliber of Peters & Lewis, it they don't play, that gets used against you in recruiting other top players. You simply have to make this sacrifice.

As to what Bob was saying:

The true freshmen most likely to play are:

1. Peters
2. Dear
3. Justin Johnson
4. Leo Lewis
5. McLaurin

They debated Keith Mixon, Fletcher Adams, & Smitherman, and called it 50/50.
Said that Gibson was good enough to play RB, but that, with out depth there, there was no reason to play him.

The same jack hole that banned me from nafoom b/c I told them that Eli wasn't a top five nfl qb.

Dear will likely play
Peters will play
Keith Joseph would be the 1st true Fr DL in if we absolutely need one due to injury, Adams after that.
Smitherman would be 1st CB in if we needed one after the 5 we have. (Gabe Myles is very impressed with Smitherman)
Lewis would be 7th LB, plan on using 6. Could play ST
Johnson is the future at TE depending on the mental side
Story would be the 1st guy in the 8 OL rotation if someone went down,.

I can't believe anyone exists that would honestly believe Eli is top 5. Lucky if he's top 10.

Dear went through spring which really helps him. Also, with his size and RB experience, he is a receiver who we can use on sweeps, reverses, line up in backfield, etc. Like we did with Jameon.

Well, there is a whole message board full of them. I gave them numbers and everything. No trolling.

I haven't heard anything about Leo Lewis since he joined the team. Anyone know how he's doing?

Negatives - Got to get the system down. Conditioning is getting better, but he was not as out of shape as many on here reported. Getting used to speed of game. Normal freshman adjustments.

Positives - Talent is there. He will hit. Need guys that can be physical when you play LSU, Bama, and Arkansas every year. You can't win those games if you are soft. He fits the bill.

He also has to learn to manage the defense as an ILB. He's going to be a monster, but his position requires maturity. Look at Reuben Foster at Alabama..... The guy is a monster and can put a hit on anyone, but he hasn't figured out how to manage the field. Hopefully, Lewis can pick it up faster than Foster. On Peters, look for him to be all over the field.

But he is not a top 5. I can name 10 qbs for every year he has been in the league that are better.

I think we will play Dear, Justin Johnson, Adams- because he can flex between DE and DT right now and I'm not sure that Joseph can do that, Lewis, Peters, and McLaurin. I would like to see what Deddrick Thomas can do on KR/PR. I also personally like Stamps better than Smitherman.
