Boom. Awesome. Saw we got at least one new CB for Kegler, too. Hopefully we can get him in the boat before too long and start working on some of the big men.

Yep, looks like we turned up the heat on Wright after losing out on Heron. Sounds like a very good pickup.

He came into the OV expecting to commit. We wanted & would've taken he & Heron. We expected to have Wright locked up & then go full steam for Heron but it didn't work out that way.

How is he a 3 star with all those offers? I would think some of those programs that offered never sign anybody below a 4. I guess the ratings people were waiting to see where he landed before the bump. Guess he'll stay a 3 since he spurned uconn for us.

He missed the April AAU period due to an injury. He came back in July & cooked. He was offered by UNLV, Iowa St, UCONN, Florida, FSU, Miami, & Pitt during the July period.

Guys, I have a connection that is as close as you can be to Eli (other than family)..he says this guy is an absolute steal. He says he was going to be Mr Basketball in Kentucky this year if he had stayed at Apollo High. Says we just got a game changer in Wright.

Cameron Lard. I think we take him now that we didn't get Heron.

And I think it's hilarious that Wright is a 3* on some sites. I've seen him play. He is really good. He blew up this summer.

Andy Kennedy might as well start looking for another job. Lsu, us, auburn, bama, aTm, and Arkansas are all recruiting on another level than OM.

Gotcha. I knew we are keeping him warm. Just figured a spot opened up. Maybe we'll gain some ground with Banks, Herard, or Abdul Ado.

But, but, but he's a composite 4 star. Seriously, I was thinking that if we now have Wright and are expected to get Carter, that's already 2 shooting guards. Would have loved to get Heron, but would we have really needed 3 SGs in one class?

Heron is more of a 3 & Carter is a combo 1/2.

By the way, I noticed that Apollo High has a big man that is expected to be a big time recruit in either 17 or 18....any chance getting Holman and Wright can begin a pipeline in Owensboro?

Can't hurt. Also depends on how big a recruit he is. If he's KY big time he won't leave the state.
