I know it is OT but just something to discuss today.

Apparently Michigan has a new brand (link) (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2547320-michigan-wolverines-become-1st-jordan-brand-program-in-college-football). JumpMan I guess is a subdivision of Nike. I guess this is a good fit for JumpMan to get into football since they won't be required to provide new uniform designs but how does this benefit Michigan? I don't see JumpMan bringing too many contacts and I don't believe it will do much for recruiting. Just seems odd to me. I can see where it could really help them in basketball recruiting but I don't know if JumpMan has the new contract for all the athletic programs or just football.

Anytime you can get a contract with Jordan it's a major win. It's a big deal for Michigan & college football.

That's pretty impressive, because it adds even more excitement to the program, fanbase, and the media will promote it too. Harbaugh seems pretty excited, and will use it as a recruiting tool also. Smart play!
