John Bond was on H2H yesterday. Was he the best option quarterback to ever play college football?

Reggie Collier was the best IMO.

MSU folks seem to forget how good Rocky Felker was. He was damn good at running the veer. SEC player of the year (if I remember right).

Yep, i think TF is the 2nd best. I had always heard about Collier, but once i watched some clips, wow. Frazier was excellent and was more of a true option guy and played against better competition, but i still think #10 would have dominated today.

Reggie Collier was a freak athlete who was born about 30 years too early. I agree that he would dominate in today's offenses.

LSU probably thought Bond was the best.

Most of the QBs that played for Nebraska and Oklahoma during their I and wishbone days were better than Bond. Same for Bama. I'm not sure Bond was even our best one. As pointed out above Rocky Felker could run the heck out of that veer.

As far as I am concerned.

Wasn't Bond the only SEC QB to rush and pass for over 2000 yds in a season until Johnny Football

Its hard to argue against Tommie Frazier.
