I didn't realize until reading the Sports Illustrated article that he missed the entire Spring session due to a pectoral injury resulting from the incident in Panama City where they were gang attacked. Sounds like he may still not be back 100%. Even if Dak didn't press charges on the scum that assaulted them during Spring Break seems like Damien should have. Put a pretty good derailment on his college career.

He can redshirt, Staley and Fitz get game action, and then Damien will still have 2 years left if he decided to transfer

Ya I think we know the reason he's redshirting now. I knew he had surgery but didn't realize that was what it was from. Terrible
