I didn't realize that we had added a special teams assistant devoted strictly to special teams. We had a pretty decent year on ST other than a few muffed punts and showed some improvement on FG kicking and kick-off coverage.

What does a quality control assistant do?

Special teams might be the difference in Us being really good or just so-so.

Yeah I've noticed him because it seems like he gets yelled at by Mullen during games more than any other assistant, which is saying something.

I noticed too, and wondered who he was. Especially with everybody dogging the ST in recent years. I figured somebody would have mentioned him by now.

He's been on staff working with ST since 2013. I remember him from ladies football clinic the 2 times I've gone (this year & last year).
