Looks like Renfroe might have gotten pissed about all the stuff Coach has been saying about him. Had a good July (hit .333 for the month) and overall average is now up to .271 with 13 HR's and 21 doubles in Double-A San Antonio. Coaches say they are still working with him on better pitch selection to reduce K's, but hopefully he continues his improvement and gets to the show in the next year or two.

This is going to upset Coach34. He's rooting for Hunter to fail so that he can be right about him.

Not at all. Renfroe has made an amazing change to overturn this season for him. Not sure what clicked- but he has really come on since hitting .225 the 1st half of the season

It will be interesting to see if he keeps it up in August. If so, he may get called up to AAA to finish the season and could get a camp invite next spring.

At the very least, he is certainly on schedule with his development. Only 2 years in and he is starting to figure out AA pitching.
