He will visit Starkville August 27th. He is a 5 star combo guard out of Connecticut.

We've gone national for recruits.

Never in my wildest dream about college aged men, did I think that Howland could pull off some of the things he is doing this quick. He has hit the ground running extremely fast. I cannot wait to watch his teams play.

To think that the 2016 class could have Peters, Kegler, Lard, Heron and Carter in it is ridiculous. Top 5 national class if that happens and we have an outstanding chance at it.

In the 12 years I've been in this business, shoe company influence over recruits is greater (by a large margin) than I've ever seen it.

People bitch about Adidas and our uniforms at times, but they fail to realize that Adidas has placed MSU as the flagship college baseball program for their company and it helped us hire Ben Howland and open the door for national recruits.

If we get Peters, Heron, Kegler, Banks, Lard and Carter, that would be good for the #6 class last year

My head is spinning right now. I just can't fathom how fast the culture of our program has changed. I've tried to fathom it. I can't.

Not just recruits- but in getting one of "their" coaches a job

How would you like to be Andy Kennedy?

He's gone from having to deal with Rick Ray, Anthony Grant, and Tony Barbee- to being surrounded by Pearl, Howland, and Avery Johnson

He's going to be so stressed he has another international incident. Brand new gym and going to get blown out every game. May be a new roof but it's still gonna be raining up in there.

Kennedy is too busy explaining to Moody that "you should do as I say, not as I do".

He's in trouble. To say the very least ....

Do the bears start lobbying Adidas? Or is it "cooler" to be a nike school even if you are at the bottom of their priority list?

Adidas never had a commitable offer. They just go after the big names.

I'm sure Adidas wanted them badly, but were too small-time for UNM, so Adidas had to, "settle" for MSU.***

I think Ben Howland and staff are the main cogs here. Apparently Adidas only helps when there is a quality product to sell. We had Adidas from day one with Rick Ray and it didn't mean crap.

Since it's so clear Adidas is making a difference for us we need to make them aware that we this to continue. Make sure you buy Adidas MSU gear over other name brand stuff. If you can't afford it, by all means, get the cheaper stuff, but if you can afford it, please by Adidas MSU gear over the other big name brands like Nike, Under Armor, etc. Don't think they don't monitor their sales of MSU gear.

People are way too busy kvetching about the uniforms to realize adidas actually helps us in this.

Hopefully football will stick with the 💯s which are actually great looking jerseys and that argument will die.

Maw Maw and Paw Paw from Aberdeen don't like the funky uniforms that we put out there at times.
