Papelbon thrives in pressure situations and he's going to have plenty of that now that he's the closer for the NL East leading Nats. Just over his shoulder is Storen who just lost his job even though the Nats went 45-0 once Storen entered a game after the 8th.

I bet Storen is pissed. I mean what else can the guy do? And he loses his closer spot. Happy for Paps tho

Storen is still paying for his collapse in the postseason. Paps in 27 innings of postseason pitching has an ERA of 1.00.
