That's what many were speculating at the time he decommitted. Never actually did though.

I don't think he has a commitable offer from the bears.

Evidently they think they are getting two DBs out of Texas. Guess they forgot how Jamal Adams turned out.

They're looking at a Top 7-10 class right now…. No room in the inn for Lenton. I'm happy that he ended up in a good situation though. Good for him.

I'll bet you that they end up coming back after him. They think they are getting everyone, when reality hits, they will come begging back for Linton.

I saw someone on the other board say that Linton has been underwhelming on the camp circuit and that the other meridian safety has looked better. That is why olemiss passed on him.

With all the attrition that "Super" class had and the ones going pro this year... And not to mention the sanctions that are coming...

Nope. He had a good weekend but their DB board is just too stacked. Even with no offers he's in line for a ratings bump for people who are into that sort of thing. Barton said he think he's a NFL CB. He & Dontrel Allen should be receiving bumps pretty soon.
