It's going to be an indictment on LSU and more specifically Miles. I looked at the FPI that ESPN posted and they have LSU with the highest percent chance of winning the West, which although dumb, sets this narrative up. So the narrative will be is Miles done after losing 2 years in a row to MSU and will LSU make a change at the end of the year.

The only way we get respect early in the season is to beat LSU and Auburn in Auburn or get some late season respect by running through the rest of our schedule 9-2 or 10-1.

Not sure that 2-1 puts us in the driver's seat, but definitely puts us in the conversation. That would probably mean we go into the bye week before Mizzou at 7-1 overall - not shabby at all. But please please please let us beat the crap out of Auburn. I hate 'em.
