For me it had to be in between the third and fourth quarter of the Auburn game. 60 thousand people singing "Don't stop believing" in the rain, knowing that the next morning Mississippi frickin State was going to be no.1 in the country. Was really awesome.

Running out in my driveway in vodka driven haze right after the last play vs LSU and hollering at the top of my lungs- "**** you LSU- ya'll aint shit"

Walking out of the Stadium after the Auburn game, knowing we'd be #1.

Being in a box in the north end zone with 3 of my best friends from State and my son at the end of the Auburn game. I don't know that I've experienced anything like that in sports.

The Auburn game was great- But I expected to win it. And the game was basically over 7 minutes into the game.

For me the LSU game was the best because it confirmed that we really were going to be real good.

Or that they weren't as good as advertised...which they proved

When we answered the A&M TD with a TD early in the first quarter.

And of course Dakota Prescot's TD run against Lsu.

Chris Jones' tip to force interception versus Auburn rates as well.

Josh Robinson run for TD vs Kentucky.

Not having to hear "MSU has not beaten LSU in 144,685,474 years".

Sitting in Tiger Stadium when Jameon scored on the long pass and watching the coonasses get out of that place like someone had yelled fire.

When the monsoon came down during the Auburn game and NOBODY moved and it got even louder. Damn proud of our fans that day.

Went to the Auburn game and ended up sitting with a young man I had just met that day along with my wife... I remember being nervous even up until a few minutes left. When it seemed we would win he looked at me and said "where do you think we will be ranked tomorrow"? I just shushed him and said its not over til the clock runs out. When the clock hit 0.00 I looked at him and said "No doubt, we are #1"... What a great feeling that was...I don't remember how long we were all in the stadium after it was over but it felt like a lifetime and I didn't want to leave even when we did. That was a great moment I hope I get to match one day.

How can this be anything other than after the Auburn game? I stayed for 30 minutes afterwards, just in awe. Then I walked out of the stadium and cowbells literally did not stop for 3 hours. Just hugging random folks. That was the pinnacle of MSU football following.

Not to mention all the bullcrap Auburn has put us through over the years. The only thing that could have made it better is if Mullen hadn't gone retarded on the fake punt, and we'd gone on to beat them 42-7.

The whole DAY of the Auburn game. That campus was just electric.

The moment when the last tick went off the clock to end the auburn game and I looked over at my best friend who just started shouting "We're number 1!" over and over and then it hit me, I had just witnessed the greatest moment in MSU football history. We were indeed number 1.

Will never forget that feeling or that moment.
