Just curious what the worse record a QB that was in the top ten in Heisman votes from the previous year other than someone getting injured. With a lot of people predicting 6-6 or 7-5, I am curious what the history has shown having a great QB return impacts the record.

Sam Bradford tore his knee up after coming back right? But barring injury I couldn't think of anybody other than Manziel going 8-4 at A&M

C34 brought this up back in June

26 of 32 teams in the last 10 years that returned a player getting Heisman votes won 9+ that year. Only 1 of 32 won as little as 7. Nobody went 6-6

6-6 this year and Mullen makes history

Wait, he didn't get any heisman votes. Maybe Snead or Eli?

Don't think that one counts.
