BassPro has the Shimano Sedona reels marked down to $39.99. This is a great price for a reel that seems to be a good deal at it's usual price. I've had a BassPro gift card for a while, so it looks like I'll be picking up at least one.

That's a great deal. Solid reel for sure

Know anyone who's got the new citica? I think it's times for a new reel, it's been at least 6 months. I love my chronarch as far as low profiles go but I don't won't to fork over the cash again.

I've been wondering about the new Citicas as well. I almost pulled the trigger on one recently, but ended up going with a little lower priced Abu Orra. Shimano has always done me well, but I have loved my Revo so much that I figured I would try out another Abu reel. I have only gotten to cast it in the back yard, but it sure is smooth.

quality reel prices have gone out of sight.. I bought Revo S's when they first came out for 79 bucks. Going rate now is 129

I have one and I like it. I'm more of a spinning guy so I'm no authority on baitcasters. I've used it for bass more than salt and it's done great.
