OOB just mentioned Miller's attorney may have offices in or is from the Starkville area. Anyone got the scoop on that?

Matthew Wilson is his attorney. I don't know if he is in Starkville or not.

Farese ate his lunch.
No doubt about it, he punched several holes in his story. I guess Miller finally wised up and got some help.

his lunch.

Even though it was stupid, wouldn't have mattered if he did. That hearing was stacked against him.

some bow tie wearing UM grad that wears boating shoes and Costa Del Mars. Atleast the judge's robe prolly covers the red britches.

http://lawyermattwilson.com/ LOL he is in Starkville, but I don't think he has any ties to MSU.

I just looked at that. His photos are him in a maroon shirt, which is good, and... wearing a bowtie with some catch phrase about bowties, which is not so good.

I guess I'm old, and I usually catch on late, but what is the big deal all of the sudden with us and freakin bowties? Some kind of inside joke?

LOL

If I were a practicing attorney -- I would have jumped at the opportunity for a pro bono case against Farese in this setting with practically no real implications. Nothing to lose and everything to gain. Surprised some heavier hitters weren't knocking at Miller's door on this... It is pretty hilarious that he hired a Starkville/MSU lawyer though...

than they already have and ensure the network does whatever is necessary to plug the holes and leaks. Hiring this lawyer does nothing but fan some of the flames. They already feel that MSU is perpetuating some of this anyway. Payback for JWS.

But Paaawwwl ain't that NCAA violation for a stepdad to get his own lawyer? Who paid for it, Paaawwwwwl?

Farese already most likely put a couple dozen murder cases on the backburner in order to handle this. They can't go "more" all-in IMO

If Miller is hiring a lawyer, it suggests that they haven't been able to sweep this under the rug yet. They may still settle, but for now Miller stills seems intent on fighting the system.

Miller had to find an attorney who wouldnt back stab him. That has to be the #1 qualification.
