Looking at the roster 47 classified as Freshmen

I know we will have some attrition through the next 3 years and a lot of those will redshirt, but that seems like a ton of freshmen. What say you.

Wait 47 true freshmen or true + redshirt? If you evenly space out players on scholarship (85) over five classes (Rfr, Fr, So, Jr, Sr) then you should have 17 per class. This would be a little heavier in the first two classes.

Also are all these on players on scholarship or includes walk-ons as well?

A little less than half of those will still be classified as Freshmen next year. We are young, but it will work out.
