Exciting first 10 minutes. Haiti playing a typical Carribean style that is very fast and depends on counter-attacking.

As I type this, Haiti just BARELY misses the upper-90 for a goal. We're still tied up at 0-0

Dammit, beat me to it, Ref. I put the starting 11 in my thread.

On TV?

USA and Mexico players both said the pitch was crap when they played on it last...pathetic that this is the product that Gillette Stadium is putting out. Figured the Kraft family would make more of an effort.

We look absolutely lost right now. Jurgen obviously did not get in their face enough after the last game. Absolutely pathetic play right now.

Dempsey looks old and slow - and I say that knowing I am older and slower.

Altidore is making bad passes too...we just look slow and lazy.

I retract my earlier statement - Dempsey is young enough and just fast enough

Dempsey is still a badass. The guy who needs to sit is Altidore. Zardes is so much better. Johansson has passed him, too, imo.

We've gotten relatively lazy again. Still creating some chances, but giving up too many on D. This team has to get their damn heads into this tournament.

We seem lazy and almost like we don't even want to be here right now. Where's that fire we saw against Netherlands and Germany?

I'm starting to think it's the "experienced" players. The young guys seem to be hungrier compared to the "A" team. They play faster and take more chances. The older guys tend to be slow and indecisive. I say let's go all in with the B team outside of Dempsey. He's the only one of the "A" group that plays with any sense on urgency or fire.

Zardes is so good. He and Johansson need to be our strikers going forward. Bring Altidore off the bench. Just wish Jordan Morris was healthy.

FS1 saying what I've been saying for weeks: Zardes is a forward/striker. Hope Klinsmann is listening.

Zardes is bad about looking for someone else to finish. Strikers need to be stingy.

What's happened to Julien Green? He was being talked about as a future star during the WC and had that impressive goal against Belgium. Now I don't even see his name mentioned.

Klinsmann has given him a break from the national team for a little bit since he didn't have a great year with his club team. Smart move so he can focus on his club and hopefully get in better form and get his confidence back, then he'll be seen back with the national team probably. Hopefully it won't turn out like another Freddy Adu situation

Wish we would run a 4-3-3.
Guzan
Chandler; Alvarado I guess; brooks; Johnson

Mix;Bradley; Zuzi

Zardes; Dempsey; Yedlin since Jurgen won't put him at RB

Tough year at club level. He's been playing with the U-23s.

I like most of that lineup, but I'd go:

Guzan

Chandler, Alvarado, Brooks, Johnson

Yedlin, Bradley, Zusi

Zardes, Dempsey, Johansson

I'm just not big on Mix. And when Jermain Jones gets back from injury, I'd start him ahead of Zusi or Alvarado. Johansson is looking good and deserves to play ahead of Altidore.

Honestly, we've got some strikers and defenders, but we're short on talent in the midfield. I love that Klinsmann has put Yedlin there. He creates so much offense in that position.

Don't think Johansson is good enough to play wing. He's more a striker, so playing him would push Dempsey wide and away from goal. But Jozy shouldn't be playing either

We need Bedoya to get fit... He is one of the better midfielders in our talent pool
