Throw that away...

Alabama at 61 is a joke. Since '08 they've lost 3 home games...

1. 1-point loss to auburn. Auburn won NC and had Heisman winner.

2. 3-point loss to lsu in OT. These same 2 teams met for NC, but bama won this time.

3. 5-point loss to aTm. aTm had the Heisman winner. Bama won NC anyway

So since '08, bama has lost just 3 home games by a combined 9 points in the toughest conference in the country. Yeah, but BD is only 61st toughest place to play*

Toughest place to play is really not what this is evaluating. It's how well a team performs at home relative to how they perform on the road. Alabama dominates home and away, so they don't rate as well.

This is done with a mathematical formula, not some subjective list. The rankings are what they are using their standards.
