Donnan was very complimentary of Dan and Dak. He said that Mullen's long-term approach to recruiting and developing would mitigate the loss of talent, especially with how much the back-ups played last year. Talked about how important it was having Dak come back and how important the QB position is and how a lot of teams are scrambling, getting transfers in to find a good QB.

Also talked about how much pressure the spread offenses put on a defense, that it's changed college football.

He was very complimentary in general, somewhat influenced by Bo asking pro-MSU leading questions. I was somewhat surprised since in the past he seemed to always be a little negative towards MSU's chances whenever doing pre-game analysis and predictions involving us. Maybe he's a believer now, or maybe he was just being nice considering his audience.
